This day commences with fresh breeses from the SW and foggy drizzely weather Steering SE by E middle part Light breeses mostly from the S. heading E by S to E.S.E Latter part fresh breeses from the S.SW. at 6Am raised a right whale at 7Am Lowered at 10Am boats came on board without success whale went to the windward Ship Steering SE by E half E

This day commences with fresh breeses mostly gushes from the S by E and clear pleasant weather Ship heading from S. to E.S.E middle part much the Same at 11 midnight tacked heading SW by W Latter part wind from the S. mostly heading from W by S to SW by W. Saw plenty of finbacks and porpoises

This day commences with Strong heavy breeses from the SE to S.S.E and cloudy overcast weather Ship heading from SW to S.S.W. at 7Am wore Ship heading E middle and Latter part thick and rainy untill 6Am then it cleared off with Light breeses from the S.S.W Steering SE by E with all Sail Set

 

Friday Feb 11th

 

This day commences with Strong breeses from the S.S.W and cloudy thick drizzely weather Steering SE by E At 1Am commenced to take in Sail at 4Am Ship under two Lower topsails mainsail and foresail and Luff to the wind heading SE Middle part blowing heavy in Squalls at 6Am Luff to the wind heading from SSE to S.

At 11 Am took in the foretopsail which tore all to pieces

 

Saturday Feb 12th

 

This day commences with Strong heavy breeses mostly in Squalls with cloudy thick drizzely weather Ship Laying to heading SSE to S at 2pm kept her off SE at 2.30 pm Saw a whaler heading on the other tack with nothing out but mains and foretopsail and afterwards She wore around and came the Same as we was a going at 7pm Steering SE by E Middle and Latter part Light breeses from the W.S.W Steering SE by E at 12 noon Spoke and gamed the bark platama Capt. Howland 4 months out 40 barrels
