Trump bravado :1. His sympathy for the people of Brussels :0

IMAG0147

The bombs in Brussels had just exploded, and without missing a beat, Donald Trump went into his political mode making statements with no facts or evidence to back them up, and he once again made it all about himself.

“We have no idea what’s happening. Our government has absolutely no idea what’s happening, but they’re coming into our country. They’re coming in by the thousands and just watch what happens — I’m a pretty good prognosticator — just watch what happens over the years. It won’t be pretty.”

Time to promote his biggest wall ever, and, of course, himself.

“This is what I’ve been saying for a long time, and I guess it’s at least a small part of the reason why I’m the No. 1 front-runner. I mean, people are very concerned about this, and they’re very concerned about the security of this country.”

“I would close up our borders. We are taking in people without real documentation. We don’t know where they’re from or who they are.We have to be very, very vigilant with who we let into this country. Brussels is a great example. Brussels was an absolutely crime-free city, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. And now you look at it and it’s just a disaster.”

“It’s why I’m probably number-one in the polls. Because I say we have to have strong borders.”

The truth behind the opposition to President Obama’s normalizing relations with Cuba

IMAG0145

Considering when Castro took over Cuba and his opposition fled to America, and that the adults would be very old if not dead by now, and the children would be in their 50s and beyond with many having few if any memories of life on the island, I began to wonder why there would be such strong opposition to normalizing relations with Cuba.

Presently, those who “escape” from Cuba are considered refugees, and they merely have to step onto U.S. soil to be allowed to stay. Many, knowing that if they are stopped coming directly by boat and could be sent back, head to Mexico and cross the border there.

Of the 13,014 illegal Cubans immigrants who were allowed into the U.S. in 2007, 11,278 of them entered by way of Texas.

Not everyone who crosses the border illegally from Mexico is Mexican, and the Cuban ones who can prove that they are Cuban are allowed to stay.

Refugees can get Food Stamps, Supplemental Security Income, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, and State Children’s Health Insurance Programs.

Specifically, Cuban “Refugees” can get preferential treatment from the U.S. government, and it does not matter if the migrant enters illegally or legally.

As a result of the Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966, Cuban-U.S. migrant agreements of 1994 and 1995, and modifications added in 1996, any Cuban who has been in the U.S. for a year and a day, regardless of how they got here, becomes a Legal Permanent Resident.

Every attempt to end this has been successfully prevented by the use of political power by U.S. Cubans, and they have been able to add further preferences for Cuban immigrants, whether legal or illegal.

Interestingly, while people South of the Border may have to pay high prices for a coyote the get them across the border with no guarantee they will make it alive once the money changes hands, Cubans in the U.S. are able to pay thousands of dollars to have traffickers bring Cubans here illegally, give them jobs, and help them get U.S. government benefits.

Cubans are not presently subjected to the Immigration and Nationality Act, and as refugees are allowed temporary entrance into the U.S. where they can apply for permanent residency and citizenship under an expedited process designed just for them.

As long as Cuban/ U.S.A. relations remain Cold War relations there are benefits that will be lost with normalization.

In 2011, the U.S. encouraged defections of doctors from Cuba who did not have documents from Cuba allowing them to travel to the U.S.

By contrast in that same year, the U.S. announced it would be expelling Haitians who were here illegally, but had been given a temporary reprieve because of the earthquake in that nation.

According to Janet Napolitano, the secretary of homeland security in 2010,

“It is important to note that TPS  (Temporary Protected Status) will apply only to those [Haitian] individuals who were in the United States as of January 12, 2010. Those who attempt to travel to the United States after January 12, 2010 will not be eligible for TPS and will be repatriated.”

While Congress debates the Dream Act, Cuban children can enter the country every day with their equally illegal parents, and their parents get a work permit, a social security card, public assistance for food and accommodations, medicare if eligible, or medicaid.

Cubans are not put in jail until their case is tried, but are immediately paroled, and after a year, can apply for permanent residency ( green card) and citizenship after 5 years, and children can go to school without fear of arrest, and college age children can enter the universities or armed forces without the requirement of having to spend two years in either.

And once they are fast tracked to citizenry they can register to vote, which gives them political power that can be beneficial to those who fight to keep the laws unchanged.

Depending on the type of filter used in your viagra in line heating and cooling systems, you may have to clean it at least once a month or once in two weeks. generic cialis 40mg They are cheapAt the end of the day, almost every day.
In 1994-95, Clinton and Castro, made a deal that would allow 20,000 Cubans a year to emigrate to the U.S., but those picked up at sea would be returned to Cuba. According to U.S practice, those getting to land anywhere in the U.S cannot be deported, but this is seen by Cuba as a violation of that agreement.

To enter the U.S., a person must present themselves at a port-of-entry, that is, a border crossing, airport, or seaport where there are immigration and customs agents. Not so with Cubans. They just have to get here.

If any illegals immigrants are captured anywhere trying to enter the U.S. they can be immediately deported. But Cubans are exempt from expedited removal by law. Where Haitians and Cubans have been captured together, Haitians have been deported while the Cubans have been paroled into the U.S.

Except for Cubans, illegal aliens must be held in jail until deported.

Unlike with others, captured Cubans arriving illegally in the U.S. do not have to return to their country of origin, apply for admission, and then wait their turn, nor do they have to return to their country of origin to apply for permanent residency.

Although it is not so with others,  a Cuban illegal is not penalized for being a public charge when applying for permanent residency.

They get these benefits because they are Cold War refugees who are theoretically fleeing for safety in time of political upheaval, or war, but, unlike other fleeing refugees who would be reluctant to go back to visit the country that persecuted them during existing political upheaval or war, Cubans who come here, illegally or not,  can and do return to Cuba for visits and other reasons once they get permanent residency or citizenship here.

Some Cubans come to the states now, not to get away from persecution, but for economic reasons.

Cubans who are born outside Cuba of Cuban parents, and have never been to the island, have gone to a Cuban consulate in their home country and gotten a birth certificate as a dual citizen of Cuba, and then come to the U.S. and claim political asylum under the 1966 act, and get it.

Whereas those from other counties who migrate here can only bring their immediate family with them, father, mother, and children, Cubans can bring siblings and married children with kids. There is no limit on the number of these family members that can be brought here.

Again comparing them to Haitians who have to wait 7 to 10 years to bring in family members, for Cubans the wait is only about 3 years.

As long as relations with Cuba are not normalized, Cubans will retain refugee status and get preferential treatment. They would lose their advantage with normalization.

And that is why many Cubans who are benefiting do not like what President Obama has done.

Among the number of people deported from the United States in recent years, none have been Cubans who arrived here illegally.

While people like Trump and his supporters, and the likes of Marco Rubio and Raphael Cruz harp on how many benefits are given and American jobs lost to undocumented aliens, and they throw around the 11 million number without specifics, they are not including the Cuban refugees among whom are those who have been given deportation orders for criminal acts, but cannot be deported.

Cuban interest groups and politicians are obviously against President Obama’s opening relations with Cuba because it will most likely decrease the number of Cubans, legal or illegal coming to the United States, and the benefits they get when they arrive.

In the railing against normalized relations, people like Cruz, who is very selective when it comes to human rights, will be attempting to hide his real agenda by emphasizing the treatment of dissidents.

But what he does not want people to see is that his people will continue with their special treatment provided things do not change.

Mitch explains his non-political Supreme Court nominee strategy.

IMAG0143

While watching the Sunday morning news talk shows, I kept running into Mitch McConnell being questioned about his senate plan to ignore President Obama’s  nominee for the Supreme Court.

He held to the idea that the Senate would wait for the will of the people, and kept slipping into double speak when it was pointed out that the people had expressed our will twice by electing President Obama to two full terms in office.

Watching his attempts to dance around that was like watching Ralph Kramden attempt to explain his latest failed scheme to Alice.

There was more “Humminah, humminnah, humminah” that actual words.

But his basic explanation was that they would wait to see if one of theirs was elected president, and if not, they would come up with a new plan.

Then he gave away that this plan was not based on principle, but politics, when he admitted that if Hillary won, they might have to deal with and probably confirm the nominee before she took the oath of office, obviously to ensure one of her first acts was not to nominate a Justice.

In an apparent lack of grasp of irony, he did admit that he did not want to have the Court turn closer to the liberal side, although he really wanted to tum it to the conservative side.

So it was not about what was in the best interest of all the people, but to that of a certain ideology.

But then, when he got on Fox News Sunday, he revealed another motivation for the delay.

“I can’t imagine that a Republican majority in the United States Senate would want to confirm, in a lame duck session, a nominee opposed by the National Rifle Association and the National Federation of Independent Businesses.”

We saw where his loyalties lie.

He then back to what he had said on the other shows when he added that he doesn’t think the Senate “would want to confirm a judge that would move the court dramatically to the left. That’s not gonna happen.”

Most people are familiar with how cozy the NRA is with the GOP, but may may not remember that the NFIB has fought hard against both the Affordable Care Act, and raising the minimum wage.

I should also mention that he did not approve of what he saw as the politicization of the Supreme Court nomination process.

Trump’s lap dog

IMAG0141

He never really liked Trump, but now that he has dropped out of the presidential race, Chris Christie has endorsed him, perhaps so that he can get a post in the administration if Trump wins.

He might want to be Vice-President, or perhaps, because he has mentioned his being a prosecutor in many of his speeches and ads, he might want to be the person in charge of the Department of Justice.

But, at any rate, once he made his endorsement, he has been in the position of the submissive lap dog that does the bidding of his master.

His master has made some rather startling pronouncements recently from threatening to send disruptors to Bernie Sanders rallies, threatening that if he does not automatically get the nomination at the RNC Convention there would be riots, and now announcing that what he wants to happen may have to happen with the backing of the Second Amendment.

Christie is doing what a good boy does and has been explaining what Trump actually meant, this explaining what he actually means after he has said something odd becoming a common practice.

“I don’t think he meant literal riots. I think he meant political riots. If someone goes in with the most delegates, the most votes, and then they are denied the nomination by what they consider to be political insiders, I think there would be real upset at that convention.”

What is a “political riot”?

“The party is the people who belong to the party and vote in the party. It’s not the people in Washington D.C. or on K Street,” Christie said. “[If] we are going to start having do-overs here, I’ll take one. I don’t think that’s the way the system works.”

My beer had an odd taste added to it.

IMAG0140

(I admit, a groaner pun)

The other day I was sitting having an afternoon beer in the only Gay Bar in town.

There used to be another one, but between its having been in a rather sketchy area and the havoc wreaked by a hatchet wielding person with some heavy issues back in the middle of the first decade of the 21st century it has been closed for a number of years.

Next to me were two young men; one was 25, the other ten years older. They began talking politics, and one proudly pointed out that he was Gay, a Catholic with a capital C, and a Republican, and both had decided to vote for the Republican candidate because, well, a Republican would be better for Gay people than a Democrat any day.

A patron in his forties, who should know better, also a Gay Republican, who would throw out generalities without any substance with which they readily and wholeheartedly agreed, was sitting on the opposite side of them from me

Part of the conversation with my questions went along these lines:

“Hillary Clinton is anti-Gay”.
“Why?”
“Oh, come on. Wake up and smell the roses.”

“Hillary should be in jail, not the White House.”
“Why?”
“Because of the illegal things she has done.”
“For instance?”
“Benghazi.”

“Donald Trump is pro-Gay”.
“Why?”
“He created jobs and didn’t discriminate. He’s a self made man who started with nothing and became a billionaire.”

“Unlike Obama, if Trump were president, that kid in North Korea would not have been arrested and sentenced to 15 years.”
“Why?”
“He would have prevented it.”
“How?”
“By making sure it didn’t happen.”
“How?”
“By preventing it”.

I was hearing Trump.

However, it was their praise of Republican support for the Gay Community that got me the most.

Here they are supporting people running for office who have proclaimed that if elected president they would nominate people to the Supreme Court who will undo the Court’s pro-Gay rulings in favor of marriage equality, work place protections, and discrimination in public accommodations.

From their conversation it was obvious that they are not aware that in spite of supposed nondiscrimination laws, many states are passing religious freedom bills which allow people to deny service to Gay people because of sincerely held religious beliefs, a term so broad that the belief may not actually be part of their religion’s tenets, but merely their own which, of course, muddies the water when it comes to actual religious belief vs personal prejudices.

They seem to be totally oblivious to the new Jim Crow laws cropping up in Republican run states that are directed at Gay people.

They were also unaware that annually, as some state legislatures open for the year, bills are proposed that overtly and covertly attempt to take away the basic civil rights of Gay people, reduce protections from school violence and parental abuse, hand certain civil rights over to the control of churches, and reduce Gay adults and student age Gay people to second class citizenship.

But, to put things in perspective:

At 25, the younger was born after the horrible worst days at the beginning of the AIDS crisis. He was eight when Ronald Reagan left office, and, so, would have no real recollection of the times or the man.

The professionals also predict levitra without prescription the possibility that doing so could treat some chronic psychological and brain diseases. In spite of the importance of these chapters, not offending conservative constituents took precedence over the lives of teenagers.

He was nine when the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled in favor of Gay marriage, and 10 when the first wedding took place.

His boyfriend would have been ten years older when these events happened, so he would have been too young to understand the AIDS crisis in the 80s, and just coming of age for Weld’s work and Gay marriage, and when things were quite positive for the Gay Community in the state.

Neither had to face what earned them the rights they take for granted, and neither is aware of what is happening in other states in the attempt to rollback hard earned and fought for rights.

Neither is aware that, although the hatchet event may have been a local rarity and a shock, attacks at Gay bars or in parking lots near them are not uncommon in other places, often encouraged by politicians and clergy, if not directly, at least by poorly veiled suggestions.

They are not aware, nor did they seem inclined to learn that in the years when their idolized Reagan was president and his party very vocal in the name of Jesus, politicians advocated for internment camps for people who tested positive for HIV and refusing to allow any visitations from family and friends unless they were willing to never leave.

They have no idea that the person who was caring for a dying partner could be refused visitation rights by the very family who had turned their backs on the dying person when he told them he was gay.

They have no idea that once the dying person entered the hospital the person’s significant other, regardless of how long they had been together, would never see them alive again, while the other would die alone as the rejecting parents would stay away. They never had to face not being allowed to attend their partner’s funeral, often being physically prevented. The graveside ceremony had to be witnessed from afar with a tearful prayer over the fresh grave having to wait until everyone had gone.

And I am sure they have never had to experience the anger when visiting a dying friend who, when in the hospital, was placed alone in a room away from other occupied rooms, and the janitorial crew threw the red hazardous material bags into the room with him while some of his friends were in the room visiting.

They have no idea that a Gay person could be refused medical and dental care because of the fear of contaminated blood, while the joke, “how do you prevent the spread of AIDS? Kill a faggot” went beyond the verbal into the physical.

They have no idea that we got spit on, attacked, faced loss of home and job, and that was just for being Gay, even if HIV negative, and that the three words “I am Gay” was equivalent in most people’s minds to the three words “I have AIDS”.

They do not realize that in other states your job, your home, your family can still be threatened, and that, under certain circumstances, this is so in their own progressive state.

They do not know that if a Gay couple were to have to move to certain other states because of a job or military related transfer, if anything happens to the biological parent of a shared child, the non biological parent could be considered a stranger to the child by the state because certain states neither allow internal gay adoption, nor recognize those from other states.

And for some reason, perhaps because she is a celebrity, they believed Caitlyn Jenner when she claimed the Republican Party is better for Gay people as opposed the other party and that no Republican is on record talking against Gay rights and specifically those of the community’s Transgender members.

They have no idea what it was to fear for your life on a regular basis as physical attacks would go unaddressed, and a murder could be excused if the murderer simply said the victim had come on to them and they panicked.

They do not know the feeling when a reported and documented death threat was brushed aside with the excuse that if you didn’t say you were Gay, or came across as Gay, the threat would never have been made, and that if you let people know you were Gay, well, you had to accept the consequences of that.

They also seemed quite unaware that the major Republican candidates willingly attended and gave speeches at a conference run by a pastor who has spoken in favor of killing Gays, and that one of the remaining candidates has a kill-the-Gays person as a campaign adviser.

But Fox says Hillary is a criminal, so that is good enough for them.

Never mind asking why poor Southerners vote against their own best interests when supporting the Republican Party, the question is if these two young Gay men and those their age who think like them will be ready to accept what they have supported.

It is one thing to not have your rights, it is worse if you have had them, and they are taken away.
No amount of “But….But….” will rectify the situation.

But when you have been living with the results of the hard work of others, and work only with your own, a global view is lacking.

And that is where the danger comes in.

They will remain blind to any movement against them as they will not take the time to look into the uncomfortable topic, but will prefer to assume things have always been, and will remain, just fine.

And they plan to vote for the very people that have threatened them without their paying attention to that.

After a while they then went on to a serious discussion of who should prevail on RuPaul’s Drag race, and I returned to my beer and to feeling rather old.

The Schism

IMAG0139

For years now evangelicals have been electing each other to get into government so that they can make this country more religious, well, actually more of their type of religious.

They have passed judgment on others, claiming they are only following the Bible, and have passed laws so that all of us are required to follow the Bible, well, their interpretation of it anyway.

Now, in spite of what they have been saying, there is a large number of evangelicals who are supporters a man for president who had been notorious for his philandering, had been divorced and married multiple times, promotes anything but Biblical wifely submission and modesty, teaches a message of hating his fellow man, and runs casinos where there is gambling and drinking, both of which are condemned in the Bible.

He is also, depending how the wind blows, pro-choice and in favor f Gay marriage.

The Good Samaritan would be anathema to him

While Trump’s rise forces the GOP establishment to confront how it lost touch with so many conservative voters, top evangelicals are facing their own similar problem.

John Stemberger, head of the Florida Family Policy Council, an affiliate of Focus on the Family, said,

“Evangelicals are looking at those issues less and less. They’ve just become too worldly, letting anger and frustration control them, as opposed to trusting in God.”

Trump has won the support of one-third of self-identified born-again Christians in the primaries and caucuses held so far.

Meanwhile Raphael Eduardo Cruz, a Baptist with a preacher father, is just not getting the evangelical vote.

And Ted is the Anointed One whose wife has claimed he is the face of God in America.

Meanwhile Trump has had a hard time with Bible references, on a recent campaign visit to church, mistook a communion plate for a donation plate, and has said he has never sought God’s forgiveness for his sins.

According to Reverend Russell Moore, head of the public policy arm of the Southern Baptist Convention,

“There’s a form of cultural Christianity that causes people to respond with ‘evangelical’ and ‘born-again’ as long as they’re not Catholic, even though they haven’t been in a church since Vacation Bible School as a kid.”

Jerry Falwell Jr., president of Liberty University and son of the guy credited with mobilizing evangelicals to get involved in America’s political process because of his support of Reagan, and, therefore, an evangelical leader, supports Trump, and has said thatTrump “lives a life of loving and helping others”.

Reflecting the wider division among evangelicals, Mark DeMoss, a Liberty University board member and longtime adviser to the school’s founder, the late Rev. Jerry Falwell Sr., opposes Junior’s endorsement.

“My concern, thinking about evangelicalism and Liberty University, is more about a style and a behavior and a demeanor and a vocabulary that you can’t find any support for in Scripture.”

Comparing the words of evangelical leaders to the voting of their followers, Trump’s candidacy has revealed a distance between evangelical leaders and rank-and-file Christians.

Instead of the Bible, it appears that the evangelicals are basing their support of Trump on his protecting them from the Islamic State group, liberalism, growing secularism among Americans, and economic insecurity for the country and their families, an economic insecurity brought about because, based on their religion, they supported candidates that created the conditions they are angry about now.

The Reverend Carl Gallups, a Southern Baptist pastor from Milton, Florida, who gave the invocation at Trump’s Pensacola rally last January, said,

“I tell them, if you are not thoroughly satisfied with what you might interpret the depth of his faith might be, then the next thing we must look at is the candidate who will best preserve your First Amendment rights and allow you to express your Christian faith. We’re not electing a priest, a pope or a pastor. We’re electing a president, a CEO, a commander in chief. I’m not perfectly happy with Donald Trump either, but I’m a realist.”

Quite a contrast from past election rhetoric from evangelicals

As Reverend Russell Moore put it,

“I think it’s more a commentary on growing cynicism in American life, including among religious Americans. There is a certain segment of evangelicalism that has given up virtue in public life or character in public officials.”

Fighting among evangelicals has produced such responses as Rafael Cruz, Eduardo Raphael Cruz’s father, asking if Trump evangelicals are really sticking to the “word of God”, Russell Moore suggesting evangelicals who support Trump “may well be drunk right now, and haven’t been into a church since someone invited them to Vacation Bible School sometime back when Seinfeld was in first-run episodes”, Conservative Christian Radio talk show host Steve Deace alleging that evangelical pastor Robert Jeffress “is watering down/distorting the Gospel in full public view on behalf of a politician”, and the Christian Post for the first time in its history taking a stand against a political candidate, advising Christians to “pray for personal repentance, divine forgiveness and spiritual awakening for our nation. It is not the time for Donald Trump.”

So we now have Cruz Christians fighting with Trump Christians.

GOP leadership waited too long to go after Trump and took evangelical voters for granted assuming they would automatically vote for a traditional-values candidate.

That would have been Cruz, Rubio, or Carson.

They got that wrong.

Large numbers of Evangelicals seem to be walking away from those Biblical principles that they have been trying to force on the rest of us.

Imbalance

IMAG0137

The other day I read a story about a person with a concealed carry permit shooting someone who was attempting to rob a store while brandishing a hatchet.

In a very short time, instead of the story being treated for what it was, someone doing what they could to save the cashier who was being attacked, comments after the news reports on the internet became a “discussion” of the justification for people to have guns and why those who oppose the proliferation of guns are just wrong.

Here was evidence, this one incident, to explain why there is no need for any type of gun control.

But one incident does not cancel the many more that speak to the opposite.

When I looked up good guys with guns stopping bad guys with them, I found that since 2007 there have been 11 times that this has happened. That’s 11 times in 10 years.

One per year.

In 2016 alone, there have been 10,008 gun related incidents of which 2,533 resulted in death and 5,111 in injuries.

That’s 10,008 in the first 21/2 months of this year.

Among the shootings have been the shooting of 111 kids under 12 years old and 582 kids between ages 12 and 17 killed, 49 mass shootings, 510 accidental shootings, 442 shootings related to home invasions (some actually being a peon knocking on a door to ask to use a phone or get directions), and 952 officer related shootings.

Out of the overall figure of 10,008, which includes my above mentioned limited list of 2,626, only 299 were defensive.

That means only 11% of my list and only 0.029% of the overall figure.
Lumbar pain is undoubtedly ordinarily a result of muscle tissue damage associated with generic viagra purchase thicker energetic work, moving or perhaps an intense trend, twisting or perhaps even warming up, irritating situations, and even waiting in single stance to much time. The active ingredient of purchasing viagra online “Generic” medication (for example, of “generic phentermine”, which is adipex) is chemically identical to the active ingredient of this generic ED medicine.
Let me just say from the outset that I don’t have a problem with a person carrying concealed who has gone through a background check and has taken qualifying gun training classes because, although that may not guarantee it, it does imply some degree of responsibility.

Also, I am not made to feel as uncomfortable in a store or on the street as I do when someone I do not know, and whose mental state is an unknown is walking down the street carrying a multi-clip rifle.

After all, in this recent store case, it took one bullet from a gun and not strafing the store ro stop the robber.

And then you have this:

The Oklahoma state House of Representatives passed an extremely lenient gun bill by a vote of 73-15 that would require a person who wishes to get a concealed carry license to get registered and go to some training class, but a person who wants to carry a gun out in the open would not have to go through any training or get a permit.

Although a background check is required when purchasing a gun from a store so that only individuals who are legally able to own a weapon, are not felons, and are over the age of 21 are allowed to purchase one, people in that state will be able to avoid this requirement by purchasing at a gun show where they don’t do background checks.

So when you are visiting there and you pass by Lucas McCain walking down the street carrying a rifle, you just can’t assume he is stable enough to pass the requirement of a background check or has any training in the proper use of that weapon because he may have just gone to a gun show and purchased whatever number of guns he may be carrying.

One of the objections to background checks is that criminals would find a way to purchase a gun without having to pass one, and here we have a state legislature that has played along with that and is willing to let criminals go to gun shows to avoid background checks, permits, and training.

A further question would also be whether or not one man’s definition of defensive is the same as another’s.

And you might want to know what actions such a person would consider offensive.

The mind boggles.

Down the rabbit hole

Prepare to hear a lot about Lion’s Guard, a group of Donald Trump supporters who this past weekend called for volunteers to join a would-be militia to protect voters against so-called “violent far-left agitators.”

“Do you want to provide security protection to innocent people who are subject to harassment and assault by Far-left agitators? If so, you are welcome to join. That’s the mission — to protect innocents who can’t hire their own security guards.”

Their Twitter account made the claim that it is

“An informal civilian organization dedicated to protecting the safety and security of innocent, peaceful Trump supporters from violent Far-Left agitators.”

Lion’s Guard also claims that while being unarmed, they are “willing to forcefully protect people if need be.”

In spite of their rationale being to protect innocents from the violent left, Trump supporters are the one who have beaten a black man to the ground, fought Chicago protesters on the streets in an all-out riot while police who were guarding Trump have pepper sprayed protesters standing peacefully on the sidewalk along with those who were simply looking on, pushed a Black woman around as she was led out of an arena and spit on people that were silently protesting.

No one seems interested in protecting innocent and peaceful protesters from the Trump encouraged violence of his supporters.

Donald Trump has his own army and people willing to act against fellow Americans based on a very generic label.

This has been seen before.

Either Trump is simply enjoying what he sees as a game of popularity without consequences, or he has lost himself to his own caricature.

He is the only one who can make it stop, but only if he stops acting like a spoiled rich kid who always got what he wanted, and still thinks he should.

Things are getting a little too serious.

This show needs to stop.
