Much the Same At 3.30 Am Cryus S.Hill John Cocking Jump Over board And try to Swim Ashore the Men that had the watch On Deck discovered it. Called the Mate Captian And all hand Lowered the waist boat. Lowered the Larboard boat for them And went to Look for them heard them crying Out for help went to them And took them in the boat. They had a big bag of clothes with them And John Cocking came vary drowning At 4 Am got On board And hoisted the boat. Up At. 10 minutes past four took Some Spungarm And Made their feet And hands fast. And run And a wood pole in between their Arms And Legs had no irons Aboard of the Ship At 7 Am Asked them if they had Enough Of that And if they was ready to go to work And behave they Made Not Much of any reply At 7 20 Am John cocking Said he was tired of it took the Spungarm off of him And Sent him to work Cryus S Hill Said he was no calf and Sassed the Captian at 9.30 Give him his breakfask And On Cast him At.11 Am Made him fast again Employ in pumping Out water in the ground And getting read to fill with fresh water
