While religious freedom bills allow people to pick and choose which laws they will obey and which they will simply ignore, it is justified because of the claim that the First Amendment means that since “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”, it cannot force people to follow laws or deny them the choice of laws they agree with because of religion.

But, no one is born religious.
