a rose by any yadda, yadda, yadda

Paula White, after having been Trump’s unofficial “spiritual advisor” since 2016 after his never having the need of one prior to his election campaign, joined the White House in November 2019 in the official capacity as a member of the Office of the Public Liason as part of the president’s Faith and Opportunity Initiative. This position resulted from Trump’s executive order and exists to help religious organizations “strengthen the institutions of civil society and American families and communities.”

An interesting application of religion to a civil society whose laws and actions are to be guided by the Constitution.

Prior to any of this, she had been pastor to a church that went bankrupt and had a television show that caught Trump’s eye in the early years of this century, and she is credited with converting Trump to Christianity at about the same time he decided to run for office. As part of her support for him she has claimed that political opponents of Donald Trump “operate in sorcery and witchcraft”, “Any persons [or] entities that are aligned against the president will be exposed and dealt with and overturned by the superior blood of Jesus” and, to give credence to these statements, also claimed criticism of her belief is “a political ploy just to hurt our president”.

In a January 5 sermon she said,

“We declare any strange winds – any strange winds that have been sent to hurt the church, sent to hurt this nation, sent against the president, sent against myself, sent against others – we break it by the superior blood of Jesus right now. In the name of Jesus, we command all satanic pregnancies to miscarry right now. We declare that anything that has been conceived in satanic wombs will miscarry, it will not be able to carry forth any plan of destruction, any plan of harm.”

She called on God to miscarry babies conceived in “satanic wombs”.

Watch out Rose Mary!

Employing a tactic used by Trump, i.e. denying what was said in a video recording is not what was clearly said, she is now claiming her words are being taken out of context.

“I don’t normally respond but clearly this has been taken out of context. I was praying Eph 6:12 that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Anything that has been conceived by demonic plans, for it to be cancelled[sic] and not prevail in your life.”

Ephesians 6:12 reads,

But when it comes to medications there is a chance of suffering from side effects when taking ED drugs cialis cheap prices assist to tackle the worst condition effectively. The pills are viagra professional online effective and world class remedy of relieving male impotence. Skip the missed dose if it is viagra online almost time for your next dose, it is better to skip the missed dosage and go back to your regular dosing schedule. After the acceptence of contract of this bridge in 1979, free sample of viagra it’s fine steel work began.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

There is no mention of miscarriages from satanic wombs.

And then she claimed that any attempt to hold her to her words,“In the name of Jesus, we command all satanic pregnancies to miscarry right now. We declare that anything that has been conceived in satanic wombs will miscarry,” was “a disingenuous attempt to use words out of context for political gain. I will just keep praying!”

One reason, I am sure, that Trump likes her is because as a “prosperity gospel pastor” who believes that God rewards the pious with wealth, health, and happiness, he can be considered being a good Christian, not based on his living according to the teachings of Christ, but because he is rich regardless how he got his riches.

According to most Christians, because personhood begins at conception, abortion is murder, and unrepentant murderers cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

Overlooking God’s telling Abraham to sacrifice his son, killing babies and children is supposed to be condemned by God through the prophets, and it was because His chosen people for a while “mingled with the [other]nations and learned their works…They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, and they shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, desecrating the land with bloodshed” that the Kingdom of Israel was destroyed by the Assyrians.

In contrast to, “Be merciful as your heavenly Father is merciful“, Abortion, being the destruction of the helpless rather than a rescue of them, it goes against that and to not intervene to save those to be aborted goes against a merciful God.

“If someone…sees a brother in need and refuses him compassion, how can the love of God remain in Him?”

So, skipping an argument for or against abortion, accepting instead that most Christians object to it as the murder of an unborn “person” and objectionable to God Himself, why would a pastor who has a position in the White House so is obviously assumed to have a good grasp of her own religion pray, “In the name of Jesus, we command all satanic pregnancies to miscarry right now. We declare that anything that has been conceived in satanic wombs will miscarry”, asking God to kill babies in the womb because their parents don’t support Trump?
