epidemiologist in chief

Maybe the Evangelicals are right about Trump being sent by God and even being the second coming. He’s darn near omniscient.

Prior to the corona virus, he let us know that he knows more about most things than the experts with training and experience know about those things.

“I understand the tax laws better than almost anyone, which is why I’m the one who can truly fix the.,”

“I understand social media. I understand the power of Twitter. I understand the power of Facebook maybe better than almost anybody, based on my results, right?”

“Nobody knows more about debt. I’m like the king. I love debt.”

“Nobody knows banking better than I do”

“I understand money better than anybody. I understand it far better than Hillary, and I’m way up on the economy when it comes to questions on the economy.”

“I think nobody knows the [The U.S. system of government] better than I do.”

“I am a person that used to be establishment when I’d give them hundreds of thousands of dollars. But when I decided to run, I became very anti-establishment, because I understand the system than anybody else.”

“Nobody in the history of this country has ever known so much about infrastructure as Donald Trump.”

“There’s nobody bigger or better at the military than I am.”

“I know more about ISIS [the Islamic State militant group] than the generals do. Believe me.”

“ I know more about offense and defense than [military leaders] will ever understand, believe me. Believe me. Than they will ever understand. Than they will ever understand.”

“I know more about renewables than any human being on Earth.”

“I understand money better than anybody.”

“As a builder, nobody in the history of this country has ever known so much about infrastructure as Donald Trump.”

“I know more about Cory than he knows about himself.”

“I know more about drones than anybody. I know about every form of safety that you can have.”

“Having a drone fly overhead — and I think nobody knows much more about technology, this type of technology certainly, than I do.”

So with the corona virus, we may have doctors, scientists, and researchers, but to get through this, we only need Trump.

When he went to the CDC in Atlanta, Trump credited his uncle, Dr. John Trump, who taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and whom he credits for making him an expert on all things nuclear, for being instrumental in making him an expert epidemiologist. It is that expertise that, according to Trump, amazes the medical experts who are trying to get a handle on the present outbreak, while, as he explains it,

“Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president,”

because

“I like this stuff. I really get it… every one of these doctors said, ‘how do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability.”

Meanwhile, while the medical experts, who are struggling, say such things as that said by Dr. Nancy Messonnier, the director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,

“It’s not so much of a question of if this will happen in this country anymore but a question of when this will happen. We are asking the American public to prepare for the expectation that this might be bad,”

Trump, because besides his being a natural, he is a fully informed epidemiologist, is able to assure us that,

“China is working very, very hard. I have spoken to President Xi, and they are working very hard. If you know anything about him, I think he will be in pretty good shape. They have had a rough patch, but now it looks like they are getting it more and more under control. I think that is a problem that is going to go away,”

and lets us know that,

“I think that whole situation will start working out. We’re very close to a vaccine.”

The problem he told us in a tweet is that

“Low Ratings Fake News MSDNC (Comcast) and CNN are doing everything possible to make the Caronavirus look as bad as possible, including panicking markets, if possible. Likewise their incompetent Do Nothing Democrat comrades are all talk, no action. USA in great shape!”

The fact the disease is spreading to countries outside its place of origin can apparently be ignored because this is just one more hoax to make him look bad.

The World Health Organization may have identified more than 80,000 cases of COVID-19 across 30 countries and more than 2,700 deaths worldwide, but that’s only proof that it has bought into the hoax.

We, apparently, should just ignore the caveat of Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, who said,

“When you start to see sustained transmission in other countries throughout the world, it’s inevitable that it will come to the United States.”

He must be a “never Trumper”.

In spite of the recognized shortage of testing kits, Trump assured the people of the United States,

“Anybody that wants a test can get a test. And the tests are all perfect like the letter was perfect and the transcript.”

I guess like the Ukrainian phone call and the summary of it.

And, like Jesus whose concern was for people regardless who they were, Trump let us know, just as he did with Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, what’s more important than people is how the numbers make him look when, regarding the ship that is floating off shore with thousands of people on it he let us know,

“I like the numbers being where they are. I don’t need to have the numbers double because of one ship that wasn’t our fault.”

I am sure he just had a momentary lapse of thinking when he seemed to forget that the citizens of this country are still citizens regardless of whether they are on land or on a ship.

It is that Christ-like compassion, along with his God-like omniscience, that has the Evangelicals worshiping him like a golden cow at the foot of Mount Sinai.

I feel safe as long as I don’t listen to Trump, Pence, and the scientific experts, but just stick to one of them.
