Having spent a lot of time Condemning Gay people, claiming they are all about sex and deceit, according to Liberty University Jerry Falwell Jr. has resigned from his leadership post while Falwell claimed he was only taking a temporary leave, a situation similar ton Bill O’Reilly’s vacation.
A while ago there had been a story about Falwell having been very generous to a pool boy he and his wife met at a resort, going so far as to financially help him open a business.
Most may remember the story from May 2018 revealing the questionable relationship between Falwell, his wife, and the 21 year old pool attendant at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach that involved private planes, that very large loan to start a business ($1.8 million), and compromising photographs that began in 2012.
During the time that the Falwells and the pool boy were jet-setting around, in the name of Jesus I guess, Trump was invited to speak at Liberty University and Michael Cohen went him. The pool boy was invited to attend.
Three years later Cohen flew to Florida to meet with the attorney of the person who had the photos and was told that the photos would be destroyed.
Cohen said,
“There’s a bunch of photographs, personal photographs, that somehow the guy ended up getting — whether it was off of Jerry’s phone or somehow maybe it got AirDropped or whatever the hell the whole thing was,”
Describing them as “personal” and “between husband and wife,” and admitting about the one picture he had been given was that “It’s terrible.”

What stirred this all up now was a photo he posted on social media showing him with his pants unzipped, stomach exposed, and arm high around the waist of his wife’s pregnant assistant.
Students at Liberty University must follow a code of conduct and dress code that includes modest dress, a ban on alcohol consumption, and premarital sex, so it would stand to reason the people in charge of Liberty and alumni would have questions 0f a Person who presents himself as the face of the university and a leader of Evangelicals.
And it should offend women in general and evangelicals in particular that Jerry Falwell takes no responsibility for, but freely blames bit all on his wife.
Last year when Trump visited the McLean Bible Church in Vienna, Virginia, for a “Day of Prayer” for the president, the church’s pastor was criticized for inviting Trump onstage by some members of his congregation. It was, after all, a prayer event not a political one. In response to the criticism, the pastor said in a statement.
“[I] “only want to lead us with God’s Word in a way that transcends political party and position, heals the hurts of racial division and injustice, and honors every man and woman made in the image of God.”
Jerry Falwell Jr., seeing this as a sign of weakness Tweeted the pastor,
“Grow a pair.”
Perhaps, rather than laying it all on his wife, he should take his own advice, and grow a pair.
