Looking closely, it is nothing more than a distraction.
They will be making their pro-vet comments on and in every media outlet so as to look good, and shed plenty of crocodile tears in their stumbling over each other to be the most outraged, but they still will do nothing, and plan to do nothing, to actually help the vets.
Perhaps when all this ends, rather than just walking away, those with the most to say in criticism of Trump, will be the ones who propose and pass legislation that really supports the troops.
