Today is a big day in journalism.

Endeavoring to get to the facts of the case, Megyn Kelly is going to interview the Duggars about their son’s molestation of girls, some of whom would seem to have been his own sisters with whom he continued to live in close quarters with parental knowledge, and how that was handled.

On The View, when this came up for discussion, Nicolle Wallace, a Republican who seems a little different as she often goes according to issues and not a hard party line, told the others on the show that, being a hard journalist, Kelly would most likely ask the tough questions.

Apparently, she was not aware that Megyn Kelly had already informed her audience that she may not be as “tough” on Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar as some might wish.

Although assuring her viewers that “Nothing is off limits”, she also informed them that, “I don’t plan on getting into the specific details about what was done, because my understanding is the victims don’t want to discuss that either.”

Remember, some of the victims may be Josh Duggar’s own sisters and so, as members of the family, they could have been coached to protect the family from the very beginning by any mean, even if it went against their own welfare.

There are a number of questions that need answers, such as why they had waited so long to report the incidents; why they had not sent Josh to a proper counselor; and whether they did anything to help the victims.

Kelly is bothered that some in the media have pointed out that many of the Republicans climbing into the Republican presidential candidate clown car were more than happy to have their pictures taken with a molester of children, granted, without knowing it and while assuming he and his parents were as righteous as his family portrayed themselves to be.

“Bill Clinton was accused of rape,” Kelly said. “He has been accused by several women of sexually assaulting them. But the fact that a presidential candidate has posed with some random member of the family that’s going through this issue is somehow a problem for the GOPers?”

Apparently she has a hard time dealing with the fact that any accusations against Clinton involved adults, and did not involve parents wrongfully protecting a son, and leading him to believe he had done nothing serious, just “inexcusable”.

She also fails to accept that another difference is that the Duggars have played the role of the morality police who characterized Gay people and Transgender people as child predators and child molesters while harboring one within their own family, while Clinton neither judged the morals of others nor held himself up as an example of the high ground.

She also doesn’t seem to want to accept that she, too, was duped by the whole Duggar shtick.

So it would seem that the hard hitting journalist just might decide o lob a few softball questions to give the Duggars a chance to dodge their responsibility, and to get them the sympathy they so not deserve.

Megyn Kelly deplores the politicization of the whole mess, while she politicizes the whole mess.
